    The Art Alliance of Idyllwild is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art awareness and art education.

   Major art events in Idyllwild from March through October. That's when art openings, painting festivals, art-walks, and art- tours happen. Saturday Morning Art Cafés from June to September offer an opportunity for artists to discuss process and interact with art lovers in a casual setting in the galleries. May 8 - 12th Annual Artist Members' Show, Treasure
Hunt & Gallery Tour

An open show of works from over 75 AAI member artists featuring People's Choice and
Juried awards. Also this weekend guests are invited on a treasure hunt through the member
galleries. Maps and clues are provided. Guest artists in the galleries have the answers!

 

 

 

 

 

 

   June 12 - 9th Annual Plein Air & 3-D Art Festival

   View the progress of artist's site specific creations around the village of
    Idyllwild. See finished work and vote for your choice for the Community
    Favorite Award. Member galleries feature three dimensional artists in clay,
    glass, fiber, furniture, jewelry, and mixed media. Member galleries have maps
    of the tour.

 

 

 

         July 10 - Incredible Audible & Studio Art Tour

Gallery Openings in member galleries. Local musicians provide
the Audible Art. Artist personal appearances, wine and music.

Visit the creative spaces of Idyllwild's resident artists.12-5pm

September 11 - 12th Annual Juried Artist Members' Show

Over 75 AAI member artists submit their best work for jurying. Awards in photography, abstract, representation and three dimensional work are given.  Selection of Artists' and People's Choice Awards will be made.

 

        Saturday Morning Art Cafes

A different gallery hosts this educational event Saturdays during the summer months. Artists demonstrate their
techniques and processes in a casual environment. See the Town Crier each week for detailed information about Art
